Christmas is coming in...

Tips & Tricks for a #GIZZYELF

Sunday, 30 April 2017

Us kiwis are a helpful lot!

We've only been 'open' for a day and we've already had heaps of cool local friends share tips and tricks, problems and solutions, advice and offers that you can use when you join Gisborne Shoebox Christmas as a #GIZZYELF.

Excited? We are! Every time one of these tips comes up, we'll add it below. I'll even try and add them in some kind of order, because order is my jam. So welcome to:

the neverending list of #GIZZYELF tricks.

Check back whenever you want, we'll be here! And if you've got a tip to share, you can put it in the comments or on our FB page and we'll hopefully find it soon!

P.S. We also have an FAQ page for the most commonly asked questions. This page you're on right now is more for random tips and tricks we couldn't fit anywhere else. Happy reading!

  1.  Number One Shoes on Gladstone Road will give you empty shoeboxes for free - From Rina
  2. Be careful buying wrapping paper for your shoebox from the $2 Shops in town. One roll isn't enough to wrap a shoebox up. The wrapping paper at Dollar Dream on Gladstone is a good amount though - From TeAtaiti
  3. If you follow Wellington Shoebox Christmas or Auckland Shoebox Christmas, you can see pics posted by last years elves to help you get ideas - From Letty
